Sync Users and Roles to 1Breadcrumb

A guide to understanding all the required fields in Procore to get your Users to sync across with Roles to 1Breadcrumb.

The 1Breadcrumb and Procore integration allows you to automatically sync your users and roles from Procore into 1Breadcrumb as Sites. To ensure the sync works correctly, certain conditions must be met when entering a new sub-contractor into Procore. This guide will help you understand the required fields in Procore to ensure that integration works correctly.

Requirements

Permissions: Admin Permissions in Procore required.

Settings: The Procore integration (automatic sync) should be set up. If after this guide, your Users still aren't syncing across, please contact your CSM.

Required Procore Fields

Company Employees

The following fields are required to ensure your Company Employees sync across from Procore into 1Breadcrumb. These fields can be found under an individual User's settings.

  • Country Code: Make sure this is filled with the correct country.
  • Mobile Number: Make sure this is the same number used in 1Breadcrumb.
  • Is an Employee of {Company}: Make sure this is ticked.

Sync Users - 1

By listing someone as an Employee in Procore, when they check in using 1Breadcrumb, their data will be recognised as an Employee - allowing their activity to be sent to the Timecard within the Site Diary.

Note: If you list a User as an Employee, this does not give them Host Permissions in 1Breadcrumb, see below for more information.

Project Roles (Site Hosts)

If you also want your Users to pull across into a specific project on 1Breadcrumb with a particular Project Role (useful for providing role-based permissions) then the following fields are required:

  • Project Directory: Add the User to the Project Directory.
  • Project Role: Assign the User a relevant Project Role.

Sync Users - 2

The User will now populate in 1Breadcrumb as a Company Employee, with a specific Role, on all Projects that you have added them to in Procore. To ensure their Role has a relevant set of permissions created for it, you will need to create a permissions template for that Role. Click here for a guide!
