Submit a Site Briefing

A guide for Site Managers wanting to submit a Site Briefing form for Toolbox Talks, Daily Pre-Starts, or other communications.

The Site Briefings tool is an important way to communicate site-specific information to your workers onsite. If you are a Host, you can submit a Site Briefing, collect signatures from your workers, and get a record of the meeting all from your mobile app.

Requirements

Permissions: Company or Site Host Permissions required. If you do not have permission, please contact your 1Breadcrumb administrator.

Pre-requisites: A Site Briefing Form must be created and associated with your Site before you can access and submit a Site Briefing.

This feature is not available on the Web Portal (yet).


Mobile App Instructions 📱

Step 1: Find a Site Briefing Form

  • Start by clicking on the Host panel on the bottom right of screen
  • Select Change Site to make sure you are on the correct Site
  • Click on the Site Briefings tile to and then select the Toolbox Talk
    • Note: This might be called something different depending on how your 1Breadcrumb administrator setup the form

Step 2: Submit the Site Briefing Form

  • Start by completing all required fields in the Site Briefing Form
    • Note: If you have completed a Site Briefing previously, you can also select Copy from Previous Version to clone the information from your previous form.
  • Once you are finished, provide a Valid Until date
    • Note: The valid until date specifies how long the Toolbox Talk will be active (able to be signed by workers currently checked in or yet to check in).
  • Once you are finished, click Submit to finalise your Site Briefing

  • An alert will now go out to all workers to sign the Site Briefing.
  • All workers who sign in using 1Breadcrumb whilst the Site Briefing is Active will also be forced to sign this form during their check-in.
  • All workers who manually check out at the end of the day whilst the Site Briefing is Active will also be forced to sign this form.

Step 3: View Current Signatures

  • Once you have submitted your Site Briefing, click on the Site Briefings tool again
  • Next, select View Current Signatures to view a live list of workers who have signed it

You now know how to complete a Site Briefing! Once the Site Briefing form is no longer active, a report will be created in the Site Briefings report. It will also be pushed directly to the Documents tool in Procore (if you are a Procore user).
