Can I Create a Site in 1Breadcrumb and Link it to a Procore Project Later?

A guide to creating a Site in 1Breadcrumb first, that can be integrated with a Project in Procore later.

As a Procore user, a Project should always be created in Procore first, so that a Site can then be automatically created in 1Breadcrumb via the integration. In the rare occasion you need to create a Site in 1Breadcrumb first, and sync it to Procore later, you can follow the below instructions.

Requirements 🔑

Permissions: Company Host or Site Host ("Manage Site") Permissions required. If you do not have access, please contact your 1Breadcrumb administrator.

Procore: To sync a Project with 1Breadcrumb, there are required fields in Procore. Click here to see what is required: Sync Projects to 1Breadcrumb.


Web Portal Instructions 💻

Step 1: Add a New Site

Step 2: Find the Project Number in Procore

  • To start, Select a Project from the top left of your screen
  • Open the Project Tools dropdown and select Admin
  • Find and copy the Project Number

Step 3: Update the Site Reference in 1Breadcrumb

  • From the Sites menu, find your Site and click the orange Manage Site button
  • Click on Project Settings to open the dropdown and look for the Site Reference field
  • Paste the Project Number from your Procore Project to the Site Reference field
  • Click the green Submit Changes button to finalise the changes

Once the integration is set up, this Site in 1Breadcrumb will integrate with the Project in Procore and won't create a duplicate site.
