Device Age, Operating system and Browser
While we try our best to support your device (Android or iOS), unfortunately we can't support all versions and devices, especially when they are no longer supported by the manufacturer. See below for a list of devices we do and do not support.
Devices and Operating Systems Supported by 1Breadcrumb
- Android devices (phone and tablet)
- Latest OS version (currently 14)
- Previous OS version (13, 12.1)
- Apple devices (iPhone and iPad)
- Latest OS version (currently 17)
- Previous OS version (16)
💡If the device (Android or iOS) is no longer supported by the manufacturer then 1Breadcrumb will also not support it. This means, the user experience may be affected.

Web Browsers We Support

Slow or Unreliable Internet Connection
The bandwidth requirements for a smooth experience using our web app or native app are consistent download speeds of 50mbps and upload speeds of 20mbps.
Test your speed to see if you meet these requirements. If you don't reliably get the above speed, try the following:
- Use a wired ethernet connection
- Talk to your company's IT team to see if the wireless router you’re connected to is having problems
- You could use our kiosk mode if the site has an iPad
- A site host can switch the app into host mode, enabling you to complete the required induction and sign in using their device
Incognito (Private Browsing) Mode
Please note: 1Breadcrumb will not load if your web browser is in incognito mode.
- To check if you're in incognito mode, look for this icon and the background will be black.
- You'll need to open a new web browser without the private browsing mode on to be able to access 1Breadcrumb.

Mobile Device Management (MDM) is installed on your device
In some organisations they have Mobile Device Management activated on their devices. This can potentially partially block or fully disable our app. While we try our best to support your device, unfortunately we can't override MDM settings.
We recommend that users either install the 1Breadcrumb app on an alternate mobile device, or use the web version at https://web.1bc.app/
