Update the default Onboard Invitation email sent to Suppliers

1Breadcrumb has prepared a default message to streamline the process of sending Onboarding Invitations to Suppliers, saving you from composing a new email each time.

However, if you wish to personalise this message, provide additional information about company rules, or remind them of onsite induction times, this guide will walk you through the steps to customise the email template to meet your specific needs.


Prerequisites 🚨

Here are the prerequisites that will need to be completed prior to updating the default Onboard Invitation email sent to Suppliers:

  • Only Company Hosts can update the default Onboard Invitation email sent to Suppliers. If you do not have Company Hosts permissions, please reach out to the Company Hosts from your organisation.

Mobile App Steps 📱

This function cannot be performed via the Mobile App. Please log into 1Breadcrumb via your computer or laptop.


Web Portal Steps 💻

  1. Navigate to the project's configuration settings by clicking on [Your Name / Your Company Name] located in the top right hand corner within the orange header. Then select ‘Company Settings’ from the drop down menu.

  2. Navigate to the ‘Suppliers’ tab.

  3. Scroll down to 'Supplier document request email content.' In the body of the email, customise the default email message according to your preferences. You can type and format it as needed.

  4. Upon making all the necessary changes, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the blue 'Save' button.
