Review a Permit Application

A guide on how to review a permit application that has been submitted by a subcontractor or worker.

In 1Breadcrumb, the Permits tool is a collaborative document where a subcontractor/worker can apply for a Permit, the Site Manager can review, edit and approve the Permit, and both parties can manage the Permit as it is actively used on-site. This guide will assist you on how to review a permit application form.

Requirements

Permissions: Company/Site Hosts permissions. If you do not have these permissions, please reach out to your 1Breadcrumb administrator.


Web Portal Instructions 💻

Step 1: Find the Permit in Approvals

  • Click on the Approvals menu from the left-hand toolbar
  • Search for the Permit, or filter by Type, Supplier, Site and more
  • Once you have found the Permit, click on the blue Review button

Step 2: Review and Approve/Reject the Permit

  • Review the content in the permit, and the Permit Application Period
  • To make amendments to the Form, click on the Edit button
  • Once finished, add any additional Comments, and then click Approve or Reject

Step 1: Find the Permit

  • Navigate to the Host Panel at the bottom right of the 1Breadcrumb Home screen
  • Make sure you are on the correct Site, and click on Change Site if not
  • Next, click on the Permits tile and click on Pending Approval to view pending Permits
  • Once you have found the Permit, open the dropdown and click Review

Step 2: Review and Approve/Reject the Permit

  • Review the content in the permit, and the Permit Application Period
  • To make amendments to the Form, click on the Edit button
  • Once finished, add any additional Comments, and then click Approve or Reject


You have now successfully reviewed and approved/rejected a Permit application.

Note: It's important to understand the different stages a Permit can go through after it has been approved (Open, On-Hold, Closed) and how a Permit can be moved through these stages by the Subcontractor/Worker or the Site Manager.
