What's being updated?
We’re currently making improvements to our Procore integration that will enable you to:
- Automatically re-open a closed site diary to sync visitor, manhour and timecard logs
- Enable a two-way sync for suppliers in 1Breadcrumb and companies in Procore
To access these improvements you will need to upgrade to v2.3.0, which grants our integration a higher level of access than v2.2.0, so we can edit your directory and site diary.
Steps for Installing the Updated 1Breadcrumb Integration
1. As a full Procore administrator, login to Procore and select Select an App > App Management
2. Where you can see the 1Breadcrumb app and "Update Available" select View
*If you do not see a new update available, please uninstall the the 1Breadcrumb app and reinstall. You may need to sign out and sign back in to be able to reinstall.

3. In the Top Right Select Update Available

4. It confirms that after this update things such as Project Permissions and Permitted Projects will need to be re-set. Select Update.

5. If you have added projects manually before you’ll need to re-add them after doing this update. To do this repeat steps 1 and 2 (Select An App > App Management) then select the Permissions Tab and add the projects under Permitted Projects highlighted below.

You have now successfully upgraded to v2.3.0.
Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
Do I have to upgrade to v2.3.0?
Upgrading is optional. Your existing v2.2.0 integration will continue to work with the previous functionality and permission set. However, if you want to use the Supplier Directory Sync and automatic Site Diary reopen, you must install v2.3.0 and accept the new Procore permissions described below.
Why is full admin access required in v2.3.0 and not v2.2.0?
Procore requires admin‑level permission on the Directory tool to allow company creation. When this is granted, Procore automatically grants admin access to other tools as well. 1Breadcrumb uses this access solely for creating companies in your Directory and updating Daily Logs. We do not access or modify other project data.
This permission is mandated by Procore whenever an app can modify the Directory. Procore automatically extends admin access to all tools if an application is granted admin access to the Directory tool. 1Breadcrumb does not use this elevated access for anything other than creating companies in the Directory; however, Procore’s permission architecture requires it. By installing v2.3.0 you are authorising the app to have full admin access.
