Once a project has been connected between Breadcrumb and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), completed compliance and safety documents generated in Breadcrumb will automatically sync to the Autodesk Files tool for the corresponding project.
This ensures all key project documentation is centrally available within Autodesk.
Documents That Sync from Breadcrumb
The following document types generated in Breadcrumb will automatically sync to Autodesk:
- Site Orientations
- Certifications and Licenses
- PTP / JHA (Pre-Task Plans / Job Hazard Analysis)
- Permits
- SSSP (Site Specific Safety Plans)
- SDS (Safety Data Sheets)
These documents will appear within the Files tool in the corresponding Autodesk project.
Automatic Folder Structure
When documents are synced, Breadcrumb automatically creates and manages the folder structure in Autodesk.
The folder structure is organized as follows:

This structure is automatically created and maintained by Breadcrumb.
Document Status and Revision Management
Once a document is submitted in Breadcrumb:
- The document will automatically sync to Autodesk.
- Breadcrumb will manage document revisions and status updates.
- Updated versions will be synced as revisions within Autodesk.
Users do not need to manually upload or update documents in Autodesk.
Important Requirements
Document syncing will only occur for projects that are connected to Breadcrumb.
If an Autodesk project is not synced, documents will not be transferred.
Subcontractor Handling
If a document is completed for a subcontractor that is not synced with Breadcrumb, the document will still sync to Autodesk.
In this case, the document will appear under the folder:

└── No Subcontractor
This ensures documents are still available in Autodesk even when the subcontractor company record is not synced.
Sync Frequency
Breadcrumb performs the document sync:
Once per day
Newly submitted documents will appear in Autodesk during the next scheduled synchronization cycle.
