Archiving Companies from the Register View

Overview

Archiving companies allows you to remove completed or inactive subcontractors from your active Companies register while maintaining their historical records. This helps keep your register organized and focused on current active contractors.

Requirements 🔑

Permissions: Company/Site Host with "Supplier Management" Permissions. If you do not have access, please contact your 1Breadcrumb administrator.

How to Archive a Company

Step-by-Step Process

  1. Locate the Company: Use the search function or scroll through the register to find the company you want to archive
  2. Access Company Actions: Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the rightmost column of the company's row
  3. Select Archive: Click "Archive" from the dropdown menu
  4. Confirm Action: The system will prompt you to confirm the archiving action

  • Look for the three-dot menu (⋯) at the end of each company row
  • The Archive option appears in the dropdown menu when clicked
  • Companies will be immediately removed from the active register view once archived

Accessing Archived Companies

  • Archived companies can typically be viewed through a separate archive section. On
  • Use status filter to view archive companies
  • Search functionality respects filters, so will not include archived companies when active status filter is applied

Restoring from Archive

  • Archived companies can be restored to active status when needed

  1. Status Filter: Under the status filter toggle Archived
  2. Locate the Company: Use the search function or scroll through the register to find the company you want to restore
  3. Access Company Actions: Click the three-dot menu (⋯) in the rightmost column of the company's row
  4. Select Archive: Click "Restore" from the dropdown menu
  5. Confirm Action: The system will prompt you to confirm the restore

Procore Integration

  • Archived status does not sync with the Procore company
  • Historical project data remains accessible through Procore
  • Company profiles maintain archive timestamps

Reporting and Analytics

  • Archived companies will be excluded from active reporting
  • Archive dates are tracked for audit purposes
