Assign Foremen to a Supplier (Mobile App)
Who can do this? Site Hosts
Scope: Per Site + Supplier (not global)
What it enables: Foremen can check in/out their crew, submit permits & generic forms (PTP/JHA, etc.), and add workers from their own supplier to submissions—only on that site.
Before You Start

The supplier is already added to the site.

The person you want to make a foreman has checked in on this site under that supplier at least once (so they appear in the picker).
Tip: ask them to scan the site QR and check in once if they don’t appear.
Steps (Site Host in the App)
- Open the site in the app.
- Tap the Suppliers tile.

- Select the supplier you want to assign foremen to.
- Tap Add foreman (bottom of the screen).
- In the selector:
- Search by name or mobile.
- Only users who have checked in under this supplier on this site will appear.
- Multi-select one or more users to assign as foremen.
- Tap Save (or Confirm) to apply.
Remove a foreman:
Repeat steps 1–4, then tap the × next to a user to remove their foreman role. Save.
What Foremen Can Do (on that Site, for their Supplier)
- Check in/out workers from their own supplier (batch or individual).
- Submit permits & generic forms (e.g., PTP/JHA) and add their supplier’s workers to those submissions.
- Privacy/Scope: Foremen only see workers and documents for their own supplier on that site.
Note: If a user’s supplier changes in the User Directory or the user is removed from the supplier, their foreman assignment for this site is automatically cleared.
Troubleshooting

“I can’t find the user in the list.”
Make sure they have checked in on this site under the same supplier (required to appear). Confirm their mobile number matches their profile.

“We need multiple foremen for the same supplier.”
Supported—use multi-select in Allocate foreman.

“Removal didn’t stick.”
Refresh the supplier page; confirm the user’s supplier assignment hasn’t changed and re-save.
