New Device Detected Email/Notification
Because of our security protocols our system will notify you when your account is used when logging in using a new device/IP address. This is a precaution so you are always aware when your account is used and if you left your computer unattended the system will automatically log you out.
If your account is left inactive on a desktop for approximately 1 hour it will log you out, if it is periodically active throughout usage it will not log you out. When you log back in you will receive a notification of a new device used.
Using the 1BC App on your personal phone you will not be logged out if inactive and should not have to log back in after your first time.
What does the "Remember Me" tick box do?
When logging in on the web portal there will be a "Remember Me" tick box. By default if you don't tick this the system will log you out after 1 hour of inactivity on the Desktop Webportal. If you do tick this then your account will stay logged in for approximately 1 week regardless of activity - Recommended if your device is not shared by others or is in a private space.
