Introducing Our New AI Tools

This article will walk you through our new AI Tools, designed to improve efficiency and compliance when reviewing worker inductions and safety documents uploaded by contractors on your work sites.

We're excited to announce the launch of our powerful new set of AI tools, integrated directly into 1Breadcrumb to streamline the way you review inductions and subcontractor documents.

These tools are designed to cut down the manual review time and improve compliance accuracy, so your team can review complex safety documents more efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

Our AI assistant must be enabled via the Induction/Form Editor before displaying for end users, which requires Company Host Permissions to access. These AI tools are also only available via the Web Portal, not the mobile application.


Smart Induction Reviews

This new tool is designed to help summarise worker inductions, and flag any compliance issues related to information provided by workers within the form they complete and images they provide.

Step 1: Enable Smart Induction Reviews via the Editor


Instructions:

  1. In the Web Portal, head to the Editor menu, then select Inductions from the drop-down.
  2. Find the induction you would like to enable the AI assistant for, and click the Edit button.
  3. In the induction editor, click on the Enable AI Feedback toggle to turn it on.
  4. You can provide additional feedback for the AI tool within the AI Prompt section, if you find the tool needs some extra training (this is best done after using the tool a few times).
  5. Click on Update to finalise the changes.

Step 2: Review a Pending Induction with AI Feedback


Instructions

  1. Head to the Approvals menu, and find the induction form you just enabled the AI tool on.
  2. Click the blue Review button to start reviewing the induction form.
  3. On the left hand side, click the Get AI Feedback button to start the AI review.
  4. Our AI tool will review the induction form, and give you a compliance score out of 100, based on the information provided and the images uploaded (e.g. licenses).


Smart Document Reviews

This new tool is designed to help summarise subcontractor documents, and flag any compliance issues related to information provided within uploaded documents, against your review checklist.

Step 1: Enable Smart Document Reviews via the Editor


Instructions

  1. In the Web Portal, head to the Editor menu, then select Forms from the drop-down.
  2. Filter down to by Type to view your Supplier Document Review forms.
  3. Find the form you would like to enable the AI assistant for, and click the Edit button.
  4. In the form editor, click on the Enable AI Feedback toggle to turn it on.
  5. You can provide additional feedback for the AI tool within the AI Prompt section, if you find the tool needs some extra training (this is best done after using the tool a few times).
  6. Click on Update to finalise the changes.

Step 2: Review a Pending Supplier Document with AI Feedback


Instructions

  1. Head to the Approvals menu, and find the document type you just enabled the AI tool on.
  2. Click the blue Review button to start reviewing the supplier document.
  3. On the left hand side, click the Get AI Feedback button to start the AI review.
  4. Our AI tool will review the induction form, and give you a confidence  score out of 100, based on how well the uploaded document meets your review criteria.
  5. If you are happy with the scores provided, you can click the Apply AI Answers button, and our AI tool will fill out the checklist, and provide any comments on how the document can be improved to meet full compliance.

In summary, these tools are designed to improve efficiency and compliance, they are not designed to remove the human element of reviewing critical site safety documentation.
