How to Open, Hold and Close a Permit

This article will run you through the permit process after it has been approved.

Step 1 - After the permit you have applied for has been approved, you can 'Open' the permit or have the Principle contractor 'Open' the permit for you when you commence work.

Step 2 - Once you are finished the work, put the Permit 'On-Hold'. This will notify the principal contractor that work has been completed.

Step 3 - When the Permit has been put on hold, provided you are still within the date parameters initially approved, you can choose to close or re-open and continue work related to the given permit.

When a permit is closed, you will be notified in the form of a notification as well as still having the ability to see the status in the permits section
