A guide on editing the time and date on end-user Check Ins/Outs
There may be times where an employee/sub-contractor or visitor have incorrectly checked in/out on the wrong date and time. To correct mistakes and keep your site attendance accurate, 1Breadcrumb allows you to edit entered date and times.

Requirements 🔑
Permissions: Site Host permissions are required. If you do not have access, please contact your 1Breadcrumb administrator.
Note: To use this feature, ticket disputing must be enabled in the company settings. Contact your Customer Success Manager to get this feature implemented.
Web Portal Instructions 💻
Step 1
- To begin, navigate to Reports in the side menu
- Select Activity Report
- Use the search filters to find the particular Check In/Out information you would like to edit
- Once found, select View Details
Step 2
- After selecting View Details, the Activity Details will appear
- Select the Dispute Check In/Out Date button
- Depending on the record, you will be given an option to either edit only the Check In date or both Check In/Out dates
- Once selected, enter the edited date and time and select Dispute
- The date/time will now be changed
Viewing Changes to Check In/Out Information
You are able to look at previous changes to Check In/Out information.
You will be able to see:
- Date of when information was edited
- Previous Date/Time
- New Date/Time
- The person who made the change
Dates and times that have been disputed will be marked by a indicating that it has been edited.
Step 1
- To view changes, navigate to the left side menu and select Reports > Activity Reports
- Search for a record that has a next to the Check In or Check Out time
- For that record, select View Details and select the icon against the Check In/Out time
- A Dispute History box will appear with the change information
Mobile App Instructions 📱
Step 1
- Select the burger menu icon () in the top left corner
- Select Attendance > Check in History
- You will come to a list that contains all historical Check Ins/Outs, select the one you wish to dispute
- Select Dispute
Step 2
- Select either Edit Check-in or Edit Check-out. You are able to edit both, you will just have to proceed with one option in full, then go back and do the other
- Select the date and adjust as needed
- Select the time. A dial will appear where you can adjust the date. It's recommended to use the keyboard function () for easier use, located in the bottom right.
Step 3.
- Once satisfied, select the Dispute button to change the check in/out record
- A confirmation message will appear once complete
