      Host Check-In a Worker

      A guide for Site Managers and teams who want to check in workers using their own devices.

      The Host Check-In feature is a useful tool for Site Teams having trouble checking a worker into a site. This is commonly used for workers who show up to site without a mobile device, or with an old device that is unable to operate the 1Breadcrumb app.

      Requirements 🔑

      Permissions: Company/Site Host with "Host Checkin" permissions enabled. If you do not have permission, please contact your 1Breadcrumb administrator.

      Web Portal Instructions 💻

      Step 1: Navigate to the Host Check-In/Out Menu

      • Click on the Host menu from the toolbar on the left-hand side of screen
      • From the dropdown, select Check In/Out
      • Next, search and select the site you are currently working on from the toolbar

      Step 2: Host Check-In the Worker

      • Once found, search for the worker using their First Name or Last Name
      • If the worker does not have an account yet, add their Mobile Number without spaces
      • Next, select a Visitor Type and add a Supplier if required
      • From here, hand them your device so they can complete their inductions/paperwork
      • Once complete, click on the orange Check In button to complete the check in

      Mobile App Instructions 📱

      Step 1: Navigate to the Host Check-In Tile

      • Click on the Host icon on the bottom right of screen to open the Host Panel
      • Next, make sure you are on the correct site by clicking Change Site
      • Once on a site, select the Host Check-In tile to open the Host Check-In menu

      Step 2: Host Check-In the Worker

      • Enter the Mobile Number of the worker without using spaces
      • If they have an account, their name will appear - if not, add their First and Last Name
      • Once complete, click on Check In, select a Visitor Type and add a Supplier if required
      • From here, hand them your device so they can complete their inductions/paperwork
      • Once complete, click on the orange Check In button to complete the check-in

      • The Host Check-In menu also has two other features:
        • Show Site QR Code: This button allows you to get the Site QR Code up on your device so other workers can scan in without having to find the QR Code on-site
        • Scan User QR Code: This button allows the Host User to scan a user's QR Code located on the Profile section of the app, to check them in
