Using 1BC as a subcontractor after receiving a Full Onboarding Invitation

This article is a guide on how to complete your full-onboarding to 1BC and what you can do as a fully onboarded user -- upload safety documents, apply for permits, induct plant and equipment, view check-in record, manage company equipment.

Step 1

To start off, your principal contractor would have sent you an on-boarding email that looks
something like this:

Click on the link in email and follow the prompts. The principal contractor will identify a mobile number that will be used by you to receive and verify your set up with an SMS code.

Step 2

Please select your company name on the list available to you. Your company name will exist if you have an ongoing paid subscription to 1BC.

Else please select "Create New Company" and key in your company name.

Select Submit.

Step 3

Once inside the portal, you will see all the projects that have been shared to you by the principal contractor.

What can I do as a fully onboarded user?

Once you have been fully onboarded, these are the things that you will be able to access and action on your 1BC portal. This will be dependent on the level of permissions the principal contractor has granted you on that site.

On the left-side menu, under sites, next to the specific site name, there will be some buttons in the same row...

Site Documents:

Click on Site Documents to upload site safety documentation like SWMS, RAMS or SDS.

Permits:

Click on Permits to apply for permits if the principal contractor has set them up.

Site Assets:

Click on Site Assets to induct a new asset or plant.

  • Fill in the details of your plant i.e., Name, Status, and upload an image if required
  • Click Next to choose and complete the Asset Registration Form.
  • Click Submit after filling out all required fields.
  • Once complete, you have now successfully submitted your asset and it is pending review from the principal contractor.

On your left-side menu, under reports...

    Activity Report:

Click on Activity Report to view your worker's check-in record on the principal contractor's site.

    Asset Report:

Click on Asset Report to view your company equipment registry.

On this page you are able to add your company owned equipment and manage their location. This also makes it easier for you to induct these equipment on a principal contractor's site.
