A guide for checking the correct settings so that you can start using Automated Check-In/Out on 1Breadcrumb.
1Breadcrumb uses real-time location data from your mobile phone to allow you to automatically check in/out. This removes the need for you to pull out your phone and scan the QR Code each time you wish to enter a site. To use automatic check-ins, you must have location permissions turned on in both your phone and app settings.

Requirements 🔑
Permissions: You must have created a 1Breadcrumb profile and have access to the Mobile App to manage your Location settings.
Note: "Always"- Allows access to your location even when the app is in the background. This means you do not need to worry about location accuracy even if you do not have the app open/running.
Web Portal Instructions 💻
This feature is not applicable to the Web Portal.
Mobile App Instructions 📱
Step 1: Turn on your Phone's Location Services
iOS Devices:
- Open the Settings app on your iOS device
- Scroll down the page and select the 1Breadcrumb settings
- Select the Location settings
- Set the Allow Location Access to Always
Android Devices:
- Tap Settings
- Go to Apps > Find and select 1Breadcrumb
- Tap on Permissions > Location > Select "All the time"
Step 2: Enable the Setting in your 1Breadcrumb App
- From the 1Breadcrumb app, click on the three lines in the top left of the screen
- From the dropdown, select Attendance
- Ensure the Enable Automated Attendance slider is turned on and is green
You will now be able to use Automated Attendance on sites that have the setting enabled.
