A guide to complete an induction on 1Breadcrumb via a smartphone

This tool allows you to complete an induction via your own device, either prior to arriving on site or upon your arrival.

Requirements

Web Portal Instructions

This process should be completed on a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.

Mobile App Instructions

Step 1

To complete an induction on your device, you will require a QR code. This will either be shared with you by your direct employer to complete before travelling to site or it will be available from a poster displayed when you arrive.

Step 2

Open your camera to scan the QR code, which is specific to the site you are working on.

💡 If you have downloaded the 1Breadcrumb app this will open automatically upon scanning the code. If you do not, you will be taken to your device’s browser to complete the following steps.

Step 3

Select your visitor type for the site from the options available.

Step 4

Select your company from the dropdown list available, then complete the induction content, answering all questions and uploading any relevant files.

Step 5

Click on the Sign button and submit your digital signature.

Step 6

Once you have completed all induction content, select ‘Check In’ if onsite, or ‘Submit’ if completing the induction offsite.
