Explained: Company Hosts v Site Hosts

A guide to understanding the difference between Company Hosts and Site Hosts.

"Hosts" will have access to the Breadcrumb Web Portal and the additional features in the Mobile App. There are two main "Hosts" permissions in Breadcrumb, and this guide will explain the similarities and differences between them.

Company Hosts

Company Hosts will have access to all features within Breadcrumb (depending on their role), including access to the following:

  • All Sites (including Site Settings, Site Suppliers, Site Assets)
  • Inductions Editor (Edit all Induction Forms and Settings)
  • Forms Editor (Edit all Forms and Settings)
  • Company Settings (Edit all Company Settings)
  • Integration Settings (Edit the Procore integration and manually force sync)

Company Host permissions are typically provided to Breadcrumb Administrators and aren't typically provided to those using Breadcrumb when on-site.

Site Hosts

Site Hosts will have limited access to the features within Breadcrumb (depending on their role), but will have access to the following:

  • Specific Sites (including Site Settings, Site Suppliers, Site Assets) that they have been manually added to or linked to via the Procore integration

They will not have access to:

  • The Inductions Editor
  • The Forms Editor
  • Company Settings
  • Integration Settings

Site Host permissions are typically provided to those using Breadcrumb in operational roles across one or multiple sites such as Site Managers, Contract Administrators, etc.
