With 1Breadcrumb, sites can easily specify the reason behind every check-in. This means that each person checking in gets the right information tailored for their purpose on-site.
We've got three types of check-ins ready for you: Employee, Subcontractor, and Visitor.
If the Visitor Types provided don't quite match your site's requirements, no problem! Feel free to toggle the Visitor Types created by your company ON and OFF as required.
This way, everyone checking in can choose the most fitting Visitor Type for their role on site.

The Visitor Type you require for your site must already be created in your Company Settings. Follow this link to learn how to Create & Manage Visitor Types.
Mobile App Steps 📱
This function cannot be performed via the Mobile App. Please log into 1Breadcrumb via your computer or laptop.
Web Portal Steps 💻
- Navigate to the 'Sites' page using the modules toolbar on the left side of your screen.
- Search for the specific site you want to activate or deactivate the Visitor Types for. You can do this by scrolling through the list of sites or by using the search bar.
- Once you've identified the site, click the orange "Manage Sites" button.
- In the new window, select the 'Visitor Types' tab from the Site Settings dropdown menu.
- Click the ‘Do you want to limit visitors of this site based on types?’ toggle. From the list of Visitor Types, click on each one you want to appear when checking into this site.
- After making all the necessary changes, click the green ‘Submit Changes’ button in the top right-hand corner of this settings page.
