Add Company Employees for Asset Tracker

A guide for adding users as Company Employees so that they can start to use the Asset Tracker.

The Asset Tracker tool allows users listed as "Company Employees" to be able to borrow and return plant and equipment owned by your Company. This guide will show you how to add users as Company Hosts so they can access the Asset Tracker.

Requirements

Permissions: Company Host Permissions required. If you do not have access, please contact your 1Breadcrumb administrator.

Asset Manager: The Asset Tracker tool is a part of our Asset Manager module. Please speak to your Customer Success Manager if you do not have that module.


Web Portal Instructions

Step 1: Navigate to Permissions

  • Click on your name on the top right of the screen
  • From the dropdown, select Permissions
  • Scroll over to the Company Employees tab

Step 2: Manually Add Company Employees

Adding Individual Users:

  • Click on the Add New Employee + button on the top left of screen
  • Add the users Mobile Number (include the International Area Code)
  • Select the green Save icon on the right hand side to save your changes

Importing Users via CSV:

  • Click on the green Import Employees button on the top right of the screen
  • Upload a CSV file with matching columns as shown in the downloadable Sample File
  • Check that your list has successfully imported

You have now successfully added Company Employees. They are now able to access the Asset Tracker tool to borrow and return plant and equipment.


Mobile App Instructions

This feature is not available on the Mobile App.
